

Todd Large Player - Graduating Class of 1989
Todd Large was the starting varsity goalkeeper for Cuyahoga Falls in 1987 and 1988. During those two seasons, Cuyahoga Falls amassed a record of 30-7-2, and 25-1-2 in the newly formed Metro League. Cuyahoga Falls was the first team to win back-to-back Metro League titles.
During his junior season, Todd earned first team, all-league honors. The team scored 59 goals and only allowed 16 goals in 18 games for a 0.94, goals against average. In his senior season, Todd led the Black Tigers to a stellar record of 18-2-1, and a league championship.
During his Black Tiger career, Todd had 18 shutouts, he received two first team, All Metro League Honors, as well a First Team, All District Honor, District Player of the Year, and he was named 3rd team All Ohio Honors for his incredible senior season.
After his career at CFHS, Todd continued his soccer career as the starting keeper for Mount Union College. After concluding his collegiate soccer career, Todd attended Kent State University’s School of Architecture and Environmental Design. Todd went onto pursue a career in residential design and is the owner and operator Clarke Design in Peninsula.
Todd is currently lives in Peninsula with his wife Jeanne and their children.
Todd would like to thank his High School coach and fellow Hall of Famer Greg Shoults and the rest of his teammates. He notes that keeping the ball out of the net is a team effort and he had some incredible teammates. Todd would like to send a special note of thanks to fellow goalkeepers Steve Sebastian and Matthew Brady for always working together and motivating each other to always keep improving.
