Scott Bennington Player - Graduating Class of 1993
Scott is being escorted tonight by his wife Sherry, daughter Leah, and his father Bob.
A hard-nosed midfielder and defender, Scott Benington was one of the first players in program history to receive a varsity letter in all four years of his high school playing career. Bennington was a member of the Metro League-winning team his freshman year. And, in his junior year, Bennington was an integral piece of the District Runners-up team.
Bennington scored 24 goals and 11 assists during his time at CFHS, in addition to being a three-time All Metro League award winner and two-year captain.
Scott has also been an integral member of CFASA serving as treasurer of our organization for over the past 10 years. His dedication to our non-profit is unparalleled and our gratitude profound.
Scott would like to thank his parents Bob and Tammy Bennington and his brothers Bobby and Kevin. He would also like to thank his teammates during his 4 years at Cuyahoga Falls, and finally a special thanks to his wife Sherry and daughter Leah.
We’re proud to call you a Black Tiger, Scott! Welcome to the CFASA Hall of Fame.
