Kevin Bennington      Player Graduating Class of 1986

Kevin is being escorted tonight by his wife Renee, son Dylan, and his father Robert.

A member of the record-setting 1985 team, Kevin Bennington was an energetic and team-driven forward. Serving as a captain, Bennington played a big role for the  1985 team, contributing 12 goals and 11 assists to the team’s 100-goal tally and helping them win the first, and only, district championship in program history.

Bennington received individual awards such as First Team All Metro, First Team Greater Akron Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association, in addition to being a team captain and three-year varsity letterman. He finished his career with 26 goals and his 31 assists placed him third all-time at CFHS.

After graduating Kevin also spent a short time as the JV coach at CFHS. While he enjoyed the experience, he also joked about how the boys forced him to cut off his mullet. For that, we are all grateful Kevin!

Kevin would like to thank his mom and dad for their endless support as well as, Coach Greg Schultz, and all his teammates.

Welcome to the CFASA Hall of Fame, Kevin!
